Did you know “Lectory” is a Middle English word meaning “a house for reading”? I bind all my books with traditional medieval methods, so a dead 15th century term seemed the perfect name for my shop. I hope my books can house your thoughts and I hope you love my creations as much as I love to make them.

I'm having fun modeling my Cosmic Latte Socks on my new sock blockers! These hand-bound hand-embroidered journals are off to their forever homes. A little farewell post to all the books that found new homes in my most recent shop update! They are on their way (or goind out today) and I can't wait for the lucky recipients to have them. Oh the awkward angles I'll bookbind at to get a good shot 😅 Anyways, here is a book that I an working on today! I am sewing on raised cords again and loving it! Chocolate Sheep 🐑 I wanted to do a variation of my original Sheep Journal and had so much fun making this gradient pattern that moves from the front cover to the back.
